In 2025, the Womengineer and Ny Teknik Foundations continued their work to expand the role and influence of women and non-binary people in the engineering world. Today, we are pleased to announce that Friday joins as an official partner with the goal of further supporting the career development of the target group.
– At Friday, we are passionate about creating meaningful meetings between people and employers. Through our collaboration with Wera, we can help ensure that more women and non-binary people have the right conditions to develop and take their place in the technology industry. We look forward to supporting the network's members on their career journey, says Peter Carlsson, COO at Friday.
As a partner, Friday will offer career talks to Wera members, an important benefit for defining professional goals and the steps required to get there, as well as an opportunity to reflect on their strengths and areas for development.
“Attracting, developing and retaining the right talent is crucial for the future of the technology industry. Through our collaboration with Friday, we strengthen Wera’s work with career development and can offer our members even more opportunities to grow in the industry,” says Marie Ideström, CEO of Womengineer.
